The European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV) is happy to announce that it will be offering ESTIV BEST POSTER AWARD (€ 500, Certificate) to a young scientist wanting to participate in the JRC Summer School 2021 on Non-animal Approaches in Science: The Three R…evolution, to be held from 18 to 21 May 2021 at the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) site in Ispra (Italy).

ESTIV 2021 APPLIED IN VITRO TOXICOLOGY COURSE – June 05-10, 2022 Copy

The ESTIV Applied in Vitro Toxicology Course 2021 will be organized at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in the week of October 18-22, 2021. The program of the 2021 course is shaping and the registration will open in March. For information about the scope of the course and the program, please visit the web of the 2020 course, which has been organized as an online event due to the epidemiological situation in the EU.

ESTIV Supports the Open Letter to the European Commission

The current EU Cosmetics Regulation prevents animal testing of cosmetics and cosmetic raw materials in animals, as well as it prevents introducing and marketing cosmetics tested in animals in the Europan market. EU commitment to the 3Rs and legislation introduced in this aspect is used as the gold standard around the world.

ESTIV/ASCCT Webinars in 2021

ESTIV organizes free webinars on a monthly basis together with the American Society for Cellular and Computational Toxicology (ASCCT). These webinars cover a broad spectrum of topics relevant to the fields of in vitro and in silico toxicology. ESTIV members are welcome to propose topics and speakers at any time. All webinars are recorded, archived and available for ESTIV members.
