The ESTIV 2024 Congress participants supported the “Island of Hope” project, managed by Centrum Narovinu, a Czech charitable organization dedicated to supporting the education of children in Kenya

During the ESTIV 2024 Congress in Prague, the ESTIV booth was transformed on the second and third day into a place where participants could support the Island of Hope (Ostrov Nadeje) community centre in Kenya. The community centre serves 550 children, providing preschool education (kindergarten), elementary school, and high school education (including a dormitory), an educational centre, a library and PC class, a health centre, and a farm.

The contributions collected during the ESTIV 2024 Congress will be sufficient to cover the education of one child for a whole year, including the school uniform.

We are thankful for the support provided by the visitors of the ESTIV 2024 Congress. If anyone would still like to support the project, please don’t hesitate to visit the website of the organisation Centrum Narovinu: https://www.centernarovinu.org/content/about-us-basic-information

Thank you message to all supporters (in Czech language) from managers and volunteers working for the project is attached.
